Biography:

Received a Bachelor and Master of Engineering degree from Kagoshima University, Japan in 2000 and 2002, respectively. First work experience after graduation was with Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) from September 2002 to November 2003 as a Research and Development (R&D) Engineer. In December 2003, joined the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), under Faculty of Mechanical Engineering as a Lecturer.  Obtained a Doctor of Engineering (Ecosystem) in March 2008 from Tokushima University. Transferred to Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT), UTM Kuala Lumpur in year 2011. Appointed as head of Advanced Vehicle System research group from 2012 to 2018 and research manager of MJIIT from 2018 to 2020. Development of a device that can produce emulsion fuel without chemical additive or surfactant has started since 2012 when MJIIT granted a research grant. Since then, 10 other research grants with an amount worth about USD300,000 has been secured. In year 2019, a company has been established in collaboration with one of Malaysian automotive parts manufacturer in order to commercialise the device. The device was named as Real-Time Non-Surfactant Emulsion Fuel Supply System or in short RTES.
